Guide To Online Blackjack Cheating

Blackjack is one of the most famous casino games and it isn't a secret that there are many ways for players to get an edge over online casino at blackjack. However, there are only a few options for a single player to cheat in his own manner at blackjack.

Did you know you can cheat at online blackjack? I know it sounds surprising. After all, you’re playing online so you don't handle actual cards or chips. And even card counting, which is not technically cheating or illegal, doesn't work online.

A special device known as a “pegger” is often used to mark indentations on the cards which can be felt by the dealer or the player to know its value. Aside from the all methods to cheat and lure your opponent, there are several more different ways of blackjack cheating.

This is because card counting doesn't work with a random number generator, which is what online blackjack uses. So how do players cheat at online blackjack? They use “bots” which are essentially robot players.

Now these online blackjack bots only work at casino games where a successful strategy can be programmed into a computer and where it is possible to beat the house. So, you’re unlikely to see a slots bot since there is no real strategy that can be programmed into a bot to make a slot game profitable.

But blackjack is a game that seems designed to be played by a computer. A blackjack bot has all the information on when to fold, slot, hit or double programmed into it. Now, players who use bots don't just sit there with a bot helping them decide whether to stand or hit on a hand.

No, a bot player will create a number of bots and send them out to play more blackjack hands at more casinos than any normal player could handle. The bots will always make the best decision on a hand– they can't be swayed by emotion. They never grow tired. They never take a chance. And all of this means the player has less of an edge over the player. Because the player is a robot.

Now is bot playing cheating? Well, it's a bit like card counting. Card counting isn't technically illegal. You can't be charged in court with card counting. But casinos have the right to refuse service to any player for any reason. In the same way, bots won't land a player in court, but they are generally against a casino's terms of service.

And if a player is found to be using a bot, their account can be frozen or suspended depending on the casino's policy. Bot players can lose their winnings. Or at least the winnings they haven't claimed yet. And a player who uses bots isn’t a real blackjack player.

After all, they themselves don't interact with the game and bots can be bought online already programmed for the best blackjack strategy. Which is why they’re considered to be a form of online casino cheating.
